70% of World’s Raw Chocolate Soon To Be Genetically Modified 2010

CSTWith the intention of flooding 70% of the global cocoa supply with genetically modified (GMO) cocoa tree hybrids, a collaboration involving Mars, USDA and IBM is accelerating this process.

With primary funding from US chocolate producer Mars, the partnership includes scientists based at the Agricultural Research Service (ARS) of the US Department of Agriculture and Science as well as researchers working at IBM’s Thomas J Watson Research Center.

The scientists are determined to finalize gene sequencing of the cocoa genome which they say will “benefit” the chocolate industry and cocoa growers in West Africa where 70 percent of the world’s cocoa is produced, and in other tropical zones.

According to the global head of plant science and research at the confectionery firm, Howard-Yana Shapiro, the sequence is of great importance.

Never liked that guy

Het is nu reeds vele jaren geleden dat ik een kennis had er prat op ging dat hij in belgie de cel had gedeelt met… MAARTEN VAN ROSSUM. Nu mijn kennis over de handelswijze der politie over de jaren heen wat groter is geworden zou ik nu niet meer durven te gaan beweren of een in hechtenis neming nu in een negatief of positief daglicht bezien mag gaan worden. Enfin..mijn kennis was daar toendertijd beland voor een drugs delict en zou heden ten dage wellicht deel uitgemaakt hebben van het establisement dewelke de drugshandel in handen heeft en met rust gelaten worden. Wel...hem persoonlijk goed kennende in die dagen was dat eigenlijk in het geheel niet verwonderlijk voor mij.
Vandaar dat wanneer de naam V. Rossum in het nieuws kwam ik dit even wat aandacht gaf.
Ik schaar mij dus aan de zijde van Dr.No hier. Hoogst onbetrouwbaar sujet.

“Fout” of niet, hij blijft vermakelijk.

ik vond hem inderdaad wel erg grappig.
En er zullen vast zaken zijn waar ik het niet met hem eens ben, maar hoe hij over angst in Nederland praat, daar kan ik me wel in vinden.
In grote lijnen zegt hij ook dat er een select groepje (corrupte) mensen is die het voor de rest voor het zeggen hebben, en uit eigen gewin proberen het volk angst in te boezemen om zo hun doelen (welke dit dan ook zijn) te halen.
